Morris Township Recreation

Morris Township pools are located at the Streeter Pool on Sussex Avenue on the western part of Morris Township and Gitny Pool and recreation area on the eastern side of Morris Township.  In addition to pools, there are many parks including the expansive Lewis Morris Park that has its own swimming area with beach, walking trails, BBQ areas, ball fields and more.  Historic parks such as Speedwell Park and Fosterfields Living Historical Park, allow guests to travel back in time to experience life in a village or working farm in the mid-1800s; Jockey Hollow, Washington’s Headquarters and Fort Nonsense national parks provide guests a historical exploration to the revolutionary times in Morris Township.  Morris Township also has a large section of Patriots Path where you can hike, bike, cross country ski or horseback ride along the trail.
